Happy weekend folks! I encountered a few technical difficulties over the last couple of days so The Weekender is a day late, but no worries!

The last week has seen me start using the “Couch to 5k” app, since I’ve long been interested in giving running a try but was never really quite sure the best way to start in building up stamina and endurance. I also invested in a pair of good running shoes, and these Asics Gel Kayano trainers (now on sale!) fit the bill perfectly.

One of the biggest concerns I’ve had about running was it can be tough on joints and the right shoes can make all the difference. So far I’ve gone on three runs this week at about a half hour each and felt pretty good after each one. How are you staying fit and healthy these days?
