Happy weekend folks! I hope my friends back in the US have a fun (and safe) July 4th weekend. I’ve included lots of links to help you celebrate in delicious style and that you can hopefully enjoy beyond the weekend.
Here in Scotland restrictions will be lifting a bit more and it looks like my husband and I will be able to get our hair cut later in the month. I don’t trust myself to cut his hair, even though I know a few people who have done a pretty good job following YouTube tutorials and he’s not a happy fellow when it starts to get longer. I last had my color done a week before lockdown started and my ends are looking like an old-timey witches broom, so I’m admittedly looking forward to the appointment as well. I always feel more polished and put together when my hair looks nice, even though I was more than ok waiting until it could be done safely.
Our dinner from Timberyard last weekend was really outstanding and probably the best out of all the delicious finish at home meals from our favorite Edinburgh restaurants. Have you been able to enjoy any special meals at home during lockdown?
