I love a good ruffle and the occasional rhinestone, but sometimes it also feels really good just to keep things simple. I’ve put away my zebra-print coat (on sale for 84% off now and no that isn’t a typo!) until the colder weather returns and am looking forward to more pared-down and less embellished summer dressing.
Obviously, I’m hopeful that means more time spent outside and being able to socialize with friends and family in person. But if that’s not possible just yet, these new wardrobe staples will look great during video group chats and feel great when you’re staying home.
My current favorite sneakers by Veja, these can be styled with wide-leg trousers, sundresses or skinny jeans. They go with almost any silhouette and are super comfy too. Also available in Black. (via & Other Stories)
A simple but hardly basic kimono wrap dress that comes in 4 colors. If lilac isn’t quite your speed, you can go with beige or black or swing in the other direction and go for the notice-me orange, all with the same clean, unfussy lines. (via & Other Stories)
Like these barely-there strappy sandals that come in 3 colors and feature an on-trend square toe. (via H&M)
